Official Alfa Romeo Game Announced
Another Italian car maker gets its own title.
There are two general strategies to making driving games: include every manufacturer you can get your hands on or choose one and squeeze every drop out of it. Italian game creator Milestone is taking the latter route.
The developer has recently been picked by Alfa Romeo to create a game that focuses on the car company and its rich history in automobiles and motorsport.
S.C.A.R. - Squadra Corse Alfa Romeo, to give it its full name, will allow Alfa Romeo fans to revel in both the present and past of the century-old car company.
Milestone has considerable experience in this field, having developed the official games for the SuperBike World Championship for EA up until 2001. More recently, the company has been working on Racing Evoluzione for Xbox and an official game for that other Italian car company, Lamborghini.
S.C.A.R. - Squadra Corse Alfa Romeo will be released for PC, Xbox and PlayStation 2 this spring.
