A More Perfect Dark for Xbox 360
Microsoft announces a new deluxe package for Rare's much-anticipated shooter.
With Halo 3 still a way off, Microsoft is turning to its other major first-person shooter to bring in early adopters. Developer Rare's Perfect Dark Zero was perhaps underwhelming in its early showings, but Microsoft is confident that the finished product will knock gamers' socks off.
Though the precise release date is still a mystery - it will launch alongside the Xbox 360, probably in November - Perfect Dark Zero will come in two flavours: a standard version and a deluxe package loaded with extras.
The two-disc limited edition package contains the game, a holographic trading card, a comic book set in the game universe and a bonus disc that features behind-the-scenes footage, music, themes for your Xbox 360 and the first chapter of the upcoming Perfect Dark novel, Perfect Dark: Initial Vector, by comic book writer and novelist Greg Rucka.
