Sonic Riders: New Hi-Res Footage
We are still pretending that Sonic Riders will be excellent, so it seems like a good time to bring you these hi-res gameplay clips.
In our recent half-assed preview of the decent and more deserving Sonic Riders, we said we'd be bringing you high quality footage of the game imminently. Well guess what: here it is.
The game, which frankly could go either way in reviews and in the charts, sees Sonic and chums riding each other. No. Actually it sees them riding on hoverboards that were stolen from the Back to the Future idea in a racing game.
Whether or not we give it 90% will depend on whether Cream the Rabbit is included. We haven't seen her in any screenshots yet. If she is not included we will only give it 45%. So Sega, you know what to do.
Meanwhile, you should really take a look at these videos. We have a hi-res 60fps version of the official trailer whuch some clever guy at Sega decided to only release as a really, really crappy quality download back at the time of the game's announcement, and it's in Japanese as well which is obviously cooler.
In addition, we have two 60fps gameplay videos, so you can see if you think it will get 40% or 90% in the reviews. Aren't we nice to you?
Stay tuned for more on Sonic Riders.
