Classic Japanese franchise in new Atomiswave 2D fighting game - super-super oil barrel of DEATH!
The Fist of the North Star franchise, also known as Hokuto no Ken, has enjoyed a long history of various game releases, and the latest offers some fine 2D fighting action in a new Sega Atomiswave arcade release.
At the recent ATEI arcade show, our contributor Dan Boutros picked up this shakycam footage of some frenetic players pulling off combos and death moves, including one involving an incredible "SUPER SUPER OIL BARREL" (the player's words, not ours or Dan's).
We quite like the look of this, especialy since it's by Sega or something, so let's hope it comes to console so that we can all pretend to know all about it, when really we just don't.
