Virtua Fighter 5 Online Only on Xbox 360
And it's going to be based on the latest arcade version.
They said it couldn't be done, but that hasn't stopped Sega from revealing that its highly rated fighting game Virtua Fighter 5 will be playable online on the Xbox 360.
Sega said in an announcement on Friday that the version of the game launching on the Xbox 360 later in the year would be based on the latest arcade iteration. The developers have squeezed in an enhanced Dojo mode, allowing players to hone their skills.
But the draw here will be the online play, which lets two players fight against each other over Xbox Live. Sega said it has also improved the Quest mode.
Virtua Fighter 5 was released on the PlayStation 3 earlier this year. it will be out for the Xbox 360 this autumn. For more, check out our full review of the PS3 version.
