Ubi to Offer Better Packaging
European publisher unveils plans for superior quality DVD-style packaging on upcoming releases.
Ubi Soft is releasing Special Edition DVD cases their upcoming games Rainbow Six 3, Splinter Cell and Rayman 3. The bandwagon isn't quite full, as Ubi has decided to follow the trend started by the DVD movie industry.
The packaging promises to be "qualitative and innovative" and will feature Limited Edition versions for those die-hard fans.
"I have always believed that packaging is a key factor in the purchasing decision and especially in our industry", said Alain Corre, Ubi Soft's European MD.
"On top of the great quality of the softwares, we want to offer more to our customers by further developing their immersion into our games through attractive packagings".
We can't wait to see them, especially if they feature holographic-style artwork, as recently seen in UK trade magazine MCV for Rayman 3...
