Contest: Sega Arcade Collection
We've got three brand new box sets of Sega's Arcade Collection for the PC to give away. Plus: last month's contest winners announced.
After the huge success of last month's Tecmo contest on Kikizo, we're pleased to annouce our new competition to win one of three special edition box sets - the Sega Arcade Collection for PC CD ROM.
Last month's winners are Mel Alvarez, Simon Smythe, and Sheridan MacKenzie, who all receive the DOAX and Rygar goodies.
Onto this month's prize. The Sega Arcade Collection is a six disc Sega extravaganza, published by Empire Interactive. The deluxe box set includes:
- Virtua Fighter 2 - AM2's exceptional fighting game, considered by many to be the best in the series before VF4 came along.
- Sega Rally - the game that started it all, and the prefect way to get into the mood for Sega Rally 3 expected later this year.
- Virtua Cop 2 - Another AM2 classic that sees Janet Marshal join Rage and Smarty to defend Virtua City from criminal scum.
- Virtua Tennis - the massively popular, and ferociously addictive Sega Sports sim.
- Sonic R - the gorgeous-looking and imaginative racing title, originally developed by Travellers' Tales, with catchy music from Richard Jacques.
- Sonic 3D - perhaps the weakest of the collection, but still an enjoyable Sonic title nonetheless.
The set also includes a "limited edition sticker set" with various logos and characters from these six titles.
Once again, the competition is open to all Kikizo members (which requires a very quick, free registration process HERE). There will be three winners, who each receive one of the box sets. The competition closes on April 20, and we'll announce the winners within a week after that date.
All you have to do to win is:
- If you don't yet have K-PASS BASIC, then register HERE - it's free, it only takes five minutes, plus you get access to the Kikizo forums and all the latest entertainment news in the stupendiously high-quality Kikizo Newsletter as well.
- Answer this easy question: Describe the setting (the appearance of the level) when you fight Virtua Fighter 2's final boss, Dural. If you've got the badic idea, then you're in for a chance of winning.
- Email your answer to contest@kikizo.com stating your full name, mailing address, (including country), your answer to the question, and your valid Kikizo username. Simple! You must also make sure that your email address will be active at the date the copetition closes.
Good luck, and remember - it's all about Sega arcade conversions!
