Joytech - New Lightgun Details
Joytech has released details of their newest weapon in their peripheral arsenal to coincide with the launch of the Sharp Shooter 2 Arcade Light Gun for the PS2.
The Sharp Shooter 2 Arcade Light Gun continues Joytech's legacy of Light Guns, which include the best selling Sharp Shooter, and the authentic Real Arcade Light Gun peripherals for the PlayStation. Now, almost three years after the launch of the original Sharp Shooter, Joytech has returned with a true successor, and the Sharp Shooter 2 is guaranteed to be better the original.
The Sharp Shooter 2's slew of cutting edge features and controls are due largely in part to their advanced research and development facilities. Boasting state of the art technology, designed to astound gamers, Joytech hopes to cement their reputation as Europe's leading third party peripheral manufacturer.
Boasting such new technology, the SS2 easily holds the spot for the most sophisticated Light Gun to date. It's one of a select few Light Guns to come with 100Hz compatibility, which allows it to work with a majority of modern televisions. This is all moot of course without accuracy. Thus, have decided to give gamers an edge with a unique detachable scope that projects the much beloved red dot targeting site, at least giving you the ability to stay on shot every time. The SS2 comes fully compatible with all known light gun Games, and features auto reload, and auto fire functions. It also includes an in-built directional pad and a C (Action) button located at the base of grip for that realistic reloading so many of us crave.
Peter Jackson, Joytech's Project Development Manager commented: "The Sharp Shooter 2 is the culmination of years of Light Gun experience. Joytech wanted to stay true to a realistic design and we have implemented the very latest technology to ensure unheard of degrees of accuracy, along with 100Hz compatibility. We believe the size, weight, appearance, and genuinely useful features such as the detachable scope, will enhance gameplay, and delight shooting fans of all ages."
