Vice City Coming to Xbox?
Reports today suggest that GTA: Vice City is headed to Xbox this Christmas, minus that 'GTA' prefix...
According to reports today, Rockstar has revealed plans to bring Grand Theft Auto: Vice City to Xbox, despite an outstanding console exclusivity agreement with Sony. As one of the most successful videogames in recent years, Vice City is a title most Xbox owners will be pleased to know is on its way to their platform.
In a move likely to stem from the exclusivity in place with the PS2 version however, it has been decided that the Xbox version of the game will be known simply as Vice City. The game is said to hit Xbox this Christmas.
At this stage the news is still unconfirmed, however we're betting it proves to be accurate, with Take 2 having previously gine on record saying they'd be bringing a 'major franchise' to Xbox between November 2003 and January 2004. Sounds like GTA to us.
Stay tuned for more on what will prove to be news that Sony would rather not have to deal with...
