New Screens: T3: War of the Machines
Atari have released new screens from their 'other' licensed T3 game, War of the Machines for the PC - take a look inside.
In addition to the direct videogame based on the Terminator 3 license, Rise of the Machines, Atari are also releasing another game based on the smash-hot movie for the PC.
The game, which is set to hit the PC this November, is a singleplayer and online multiplayer first person shooter set in the ravaged battlefields of the Tech Com-versus-SkyNet conflict from the Terminator world
Currently in development by Hungary-based Clever's Games, Terminator 3: War of the Machines will allow up to 32 players to face off online as either technologically-advanced SkyNet Terminators or battle-hardened Tech Com Special Forces in an epic multiplayer struggle for supremacy.
Players are put at the very center of the conflict outlined in the Terminator world- the war with the sentient machines. The battle will rage in single and multi-player modes across a variety of vast landscapes taken straight from the upcoming theatrical release, Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines, including downtown Los Angeles, a ruined ocean harbor, devastated highways, Tech Com and SkyNet bases, crumbling factories and more.
As big fans of the Terminator series, we'll be keeping a close eye to see how both Terminator games turn out, with both expected to make an appearance at next week's ECTS in London. Stay tuned.
