Time Crisis 3: New Screens and Video
With the US release of Time Crisis 3 just a few days away, we bring you masses of brand new screens and fresh video footage.
Time Crisis 3, the phenomenally good third title in Namco's key arcade shooting series, is released on PS2 next week in North America, with an October release date to follow in Europe. This latest media should remind you exactly why it's worth the trip to your local game store.
Time Crisis 3 may already be an arcade success, but this is no direct port - Namco has implemented a whole host of improvements for the console version - a completely new scenario, featuring gun-totting heroine Alicia Winston and the innovative Sniper System are both PlayStation 2 exclusives. Also included are updated and enhanced versions of the Crisis Missions first seen in the PlayStation 2 version of Time Crisis 2, complete with extra objectives and new mission parameters.
For the first time in the Time Crisis series, players can select from an arsenal of four weapons. As well as a standard Hand Gun, the Machine Gun, Shotgun and Grenade Launcher all have individual strengths, but limited ammunition, adding a new tactical element to the game.
With simple controls, multiplayer modes and a ranking system to rise through, Time Crisis 3 offers both instant accessibility and longevity. Stay tuned for our full review shortly.
