Full Spectrum Warrior: Video Footage
X03: Take a look at our first screens and footage from THQ's impressive Full Spectrum Warrior.
Fresh from Microsoft's X03 event in Southern France, THQ walked away with one of the most talked about games of the show.
Full Spectrum Warrior is based on a light infantry-training simulator designed by Pandemic Studios for the U.S. Army as a tool to reinforce Army doctrine and squad tactics among troops.
A squad-based, tactical-action game, FSW delivers the experience of squad level command in the heat of battle. The product was developed with expertise from University of Southern California's Institute for Creative Technologies, which worked with Pandemic to bring state-of-the-art technology to the game.
Designed to simulate today's challenges of urban combat missions, Full Spectrum Warrior delivers a level of realism and accuracy that has never been seen in a military-based game, according to THQ.
"With its unique tactical-action style of gameplay and roots as an actual U.S. Army training simulator, Full Spectrum Warrior allows players to experience the precision and emotion of modern day military operations," said Jack Sorensen of THQ.
Stay tuned for more on FSW as we get it, and in the meantime check out these screens and the video trailer below.
