Kunoichi: More Screens Revealed
Some new screens from Kunoichi, which will make its playable debut at TGS later this week.
Sega have released some new images of Kunoichi, the sequel to Shinobi which received a lukewarm reception when it came out earlier this year.
Overworks, the Sega studio behind the game, is promising a much improved sequel, claiming to have taken on board the criticism levelled at their first next-gen Shinobi effort. We awarded the game 8/10, explaining that whilst it had merits, it was also short, often frustrating and not the prettiest game around.
But it also oozed style, and boasted potential that Kunoichi is set to unleash. It also has an attractive girl as the main character, which always helps.
We'll be playing Kunoichi later this week when the Tokyo Game Show starts, and hopefully sitting down with Overworks President, Noriyoshi Ohba, to find out what's new with Kunoichi. Watch out for our TGS reportage and in the meantime take a look at these latest screens.
