Metal Gear Solid 3: The New Trailer
Check out the new MGS3 trailer from the Tokyo Game Show in this direct feed video download.
Finally we can bring you the new Metal Gear Solid 3 trailer first revealed at this year's ECTS, then shown throughout last weekend's Tokyo Game Show. The direct feed video is the second trailer released for the game, since its original ten-minute unveiling released in May.
The new trailer continues to show off Konami's fantastic new game engine, which pushes the PS2 hardware to its limit with a life-like jungle setting and realistic visual effects. The second trailer also examines some of the dangers in store for Snake that weren't previously known about.
For example, the jungle is full of traps that'll send you flying through the air if you lose concentration. But Snake has a trap or two of his own - at the end of the trailer we see him in a lake disguised as a crocodile - before emerging to shoot some mo'fo DEAD! Probably.
This is all very well and wonderfully cinematic, but will it play as good as it looks? Or will Kojima really leave the series to a younger Konami dude after all, and set off for Hollywood? The excitement is too much!
