SOCOM 2: New Screens Look Promising
With the final version in our hands some time next week, the time to deliver our verdict is nigh. In the meantime - more screens.
We've just got our hands on new SOCOM 2: US Navy Seals screens - annoyingly just days after we posted our preview - and we're sure you'll agree, the game is looking about five times better that its predecessor.
Recent Beta Trials have proben very popular with PS2 owners, and with development coming to a close, it's not long until the anticipated sequel hits US shelves next month.
As an elite SEAL commander, your team's orders are simple - strike targets of importance within 12 intense international missions quietly and successfully - and protect freedom across the globe. Utilizing the best weaponry, technology and training available, accept no outcome but victory.
These latest screens show off detailed graphics far improved since the original. In addition, SOCOM 2 will feature increased chat and online functionality, unique mission types, additional weapons and, of course, much more besides. Stay tuned for our full review.
