Killzone: First Ever Footage Emerges
Take a look at PS2's most anticipated FPS ever - 'Halo-beater' Killzone - in the first ever footage of the game in action.
Killzone, one of the most anticipated first person shooters of this gaming generation, was recently shown for the first time. For some reason, Amsterdam-based developer Guerrilla saw fit to invite a Dutch television crew into their offices for a look at the game, a move that apparently didn't go down particularly well with publisher Sony Computer Entertainment Europe.
However, the news of this forty second leaked footage can't be all bad, because Killzone looks absolutely stunning in motion. With a gritty realism and faultless animation, the squad-based, 26-level shooter is likely to be a massive global hit when it's released late next year.
According to Sony, there's still around nine months of development left on the game, but with information and screenshots having been drip-fed since the beginning of August, the hype machine is already set to full power.
An official trailer is expected to be released sometime early next year, but wisely Sony won't commit to a specific date.
Be sure to download this latest footage, and catch up on any Killzone stuff you might have missed in our archive.
