Nightshade: New Screens and Footage
Sega fans looking forward to Shinobi's sequel will be pleased with this new trailer footage and twelve new screens. Plus! Who loves Hibana?
Nightshade, which we'd always referred to as Kunoichi before now (and frankly we'd still like to) is little over a week away from its December 4th Japanese release. And at least they get to keep the original name.
Regardless, the game is still scheduled for first quarter 2004 in North America and Europe, and this latest footage should tide over die-hard fans until the game becomes available on import next week ready for a Kikizo griling.
As Sega Wow's producer Kumono-san explained in our recent video interview, the lead character, Hibana, has a dark and mysterious past originanting from a great ninja organisation, and whose life will unfold in gorgeously rendered cut-scenes as you progress through the game.
And, in a video presentation he conducted at Sega's TGS stand with studio president Oba-san, he also pointed out that she is "sexy". Shamefully, we are going to admit that we agree.
