Namco Adds Tekken Name to Nina Game
The game provisionally known as Nina has been renamed to include the Tekken moniker. How well, is another matter. Plus - Tekken 5 at E3?
Namco today announced that its forthcoming action-based fighting game Nina has been renamed to the rather cumbersome Death by Degrees - Tekken: Nina Williams.
The move probably reflects the lack of confidence held by Namco in the prominence of the female Tekken fighter, although "Death by Degrees" is the more curious part of the new title.
Nina has a range of combat techniques in the game, along with the ability to navigate through levels stealth-style and search and explore for special items. She'll be able to fight in a similar way to her abilities in Tekken, but will also have access to weapons including a sword and several firearms.
Another exciting Tekken rumour surfaced just recently, with reports indicating that Tekken 5 will be revealed at E3 in May. If this is the case expect full, no-nonsense video coverage.
