No GT4 Prologue for America, Says SCEA
It's coming to Europe on May 14, but SCEA confirmed to us there are still no plans for a North American release.
Following our exclusive revelation last week that Gran Turismo 4 Prologue will be released in Europe on May 14 at a price point of around £20, we provide an update on the situation in North America - where it's still gonna be a long wait for GT4 action.
Speaking to us this morning, Sony Computer Entertainment America's Ryan Bowling said: "Only the final consumer product will be available in North America, come this Fall."
This seems pretty categorical to us - and inside sources point to this as being highly unlikely to change in the style of SCEE's remarkable U-turn on the release.
It will be interesting to see which decision will pay off in the two comparable markets; SCEE's decision to release Prologue, or SCEA's standpoint of waiting for a 'bigger climax'.
