Zelda: Wind Waker 2 Confirmed for E3
Nintendo producer Eiji Aonuma confirmed that The Wind Waker 2 will be at Nintendo's Pre-E3 conference in May. Plus - Nintendo DS Zelda?
Speaking at the Game Developers Conference yesterday afternoon, Nintendo's Eiji Aonuma confirmed that the sequel to The Lenend of Zelda: The Wind Waker will be shown at Nintendo's Pre-E3 conference in May.

Tentatively called The Wind Waker 2, the game is thought to be some way into development now, and may even be playable in Los Angeles once the main show kicks off the day after Nintendo's conference.
Aonuma-san is the game's director, with Miyamoto-san recently moved to focus on getting Mario 128 finished and ready for an expected E3 showing in some form, according to Nintendo sources.
Metroid Prime 2 is another huge Nintendo sequel expected to form the thrust of the Kyoto giant's considerable software showing this year.
In addition, Aonuma-san spoke of the possibility of a Nintendo DS appearance for the Zelda franchise: "With this new expressive quality, and with the upcoming release of the unique Nintendo DS system, I think we will see more changes coming to the franchise. The likes of which we can talk more about at this year's E3, when we'll also talk about development of Legend of Zelda Wind Waker 2."
