Resident Evil 4: Hi-Res Gameplay Footage
Thought the screens were good? Well now see it moving in this lengthy, direct-feed, hi-res footage.
Following an onslaught of Resident Evil 4 information and screens over the last month or so, Capcom has kept interest in its mega sequel at peak level by releasing the first substantial gameplay footage, forming the lengthy new trailer.
You can see all the gameplay elements the screenshots have been teasing us with in action - and really you can't fail to be astonished at the visual power of this game - clearly the best graphics yet seen on GameCube.
One of the new gameplay additions is the choice of three perspectives - first-person, close range third-person, and raised third-person.
The control system is similar to previous instalments, with the right trigger used to aim and button A to fire - but the addition of a new action button enables Leon to attack, pick up items and so on. Irritating door animations have been dumped and the environments are more interactive.
Resident Evil 4 is remaining a GameCube exclusive, although Shinji Mikami's other big anticipated title, Killer 7, will be hitting PS2 as well, despite the Nintendo exclusivity announced last year.
We'll have tonnes more on Resident Evil 4 as we approach E3.
