First Footage of PSP in Action
Sony unveiled the first PlayStation Portable game at last week's GDC. See it moving here in that GDC showing.
The somewhat underwheilming Death Jr was unveiled at GDC last week. It's the first title to be publicly shown for Sony's forthcoming PlayStation Portable format, but an onslaught of further titles are expected at E3.
For the time being, this footage from Death Jr shows the PSP can replicate PS2 effectively as expected. More importantly, it should mean other developers will follow suit and show us what they're workiing on.
Digital Eclipse's Chris Charla said during Sony's presentation, "Polygon for polygon, PSP has more power than PS2. A huge number of effects that are given to you in software on PS2 are available in hardware on PSP."
We'll keep you fully updated on all emerging PSP titles. See what you think of this first one in the video.
