Half-Life 2: New Hi-Res Gameplay Videos
We expose two stunning, lengthy new gameplay videos from Valve's forthcoming Half-Life 2. See them here now, with all-new screenshots!
Half-Life 2, the game unanimously hailed as the most impressive title at last year's E3 show in Los Angeles, is close to completion and expected to ship at the end of June for PC, with an Xbox conversion to follow at some stage afterwards.
Today we are pleased to unveil two new gameplay videos from publisher Vivendi Universal Games' opus, which we anticipate to flood all over the internet soon, but as far as we can tell, you'll only find them here at the moment.
The first sees an town center style outdoors area under attack from striders, as Gordon makes his way down from a high vantage point to witness incredible scenes of destruction as a steel structure starts to collapse and the huge beings mess things up big style.
The second sees our man climb into a weapon-mounted red vehicle of power, before speeding through a new game setting alongside the coastline to take care of business, before eventually getting out of the vehicle, swapping his weapon for something a little meatier, and taking down an airborne enemy in spectacular style.
Enjoy these awesome videos and stay tuned for a whole lot more on Half-Life 2 as we approach another E3 FPS showdown.
