New Screens: Thief: Deadly Shadows
Five new screens from the third Thief game.
Unveiled last month, Thief: Deadly Shadows gets the new screen treatment today - unfortunately we only have five new screens, and they're nothing to write home about compared to the last bunch. But still.
Developed by Ion Srorm, Thief 3 will allow gamers to play in a third person perspective for the first time in the series. Lead character Garrett will sneak through the roof top shadows and the City's sinister back streets stealing riches and ambushing unwary targets.
While this third person perspective presents a new, visceral gaming experience, the classic Thief first person view is there for returning fans of the series and newcomers alike. Combined, these two views provide gamers with a greater control over their gaming experience adding more tension and atmosphere to the gameplay.
Thief is out next month for Xbox and PC. Stay tuned for more.
