Kingdom Hearts 2: Latest Screens
The sequel to the Square and Disney hit is on its way, here are some new screens to remind us.
Kingdom Hearts 2, which was first unveiled in a hotel conference room during the Tokyo Game Show last year, seems to be coming along well judging by these latest screens.
The story picks up where it ended in the original. Fans will see the return of Sora, Kairi and Riku along with many Disney characters and worlds.
Tetsuya Nomura is the director and main character designer for the Kingdom Hearts series. At last year's unveiling he said, "our development team is very enthusiastic about creating a new chapter in Kingdom Hearts history and determined to deliver an even more unique and exciting gaming experience that will appeal to the global marketplace."
First launched in Japan in March 2002, the original has sold over 3 million units worldwide, since it was well received by both hardcore and casual gamers. Square Enix will be hoping to reignite that success with the sequel. Expect more to come out of next month's E3.
