Burnout 3: Jaw Dropping New Footage
First footage of jaw-dropping spectacular crash sequences from Burnout 3, to be published by EA Games.
Criterion-developed Burnout 3 is looking awesome - and as if to piss on Sega's Xbox OutRun 2 parade from this morning, EA has released video footage of two spectacular crash sequences from the game, both available in hi-res our download below.
The series is known for the amazing realism of the crash physics engine, and this aspect looks to be improved even further in the third instalment. Flying along at astonishing speeds, the gaudy driver's car is soon a total wreck, after a detailed, slow motion crash sequence that racks up points depending on the severity of the damage and other risk-taking credentials before the point of impact.
We found the footage amazing, and it's yet another AAA title to keep an eye on at E3. Stay tuned.
