RalliSport Tournament Roars Onto Live
More in Xbox Live land today as Microsoft announces a RalliSport 2 tournament that could send you to the LG Super Racing Weekend in Belgium!
Microsoft today announced the first ever European tournament for RalliSport Challenge 2. The race kicks off today, and runs through until 21 July, and is billed by the promoter as "the ultimate test of driving skills" since there's only one track to race on and one car to drive - making it a level playing field for everyone.
The winner will receive two VIP tickets to the LG super racing weekend in Spa, Belgium, on 31 July to 1 August 2004, to see the professionals race some of the fastest cars ever built.
The impressive prize includes return flights, accommodation, paddock access, grandstand seats, grid walk, VIP entrance to the "LG Super Racing Club", breakfast, lunch, complimentary bar and refreshments plus the official souvenir programme and gift.
To get involved, participants need to register here from today, any time up until the registration deadline of 16 July. All competitors will be driving the same car (Honda Accent Evo 3) on the same track (Australia’s SS1 Cooper Hill 1 rally track) so drivers have to rely on skill alone rather than superior vehicles.
Simply put, the winner is he who has driven that car, round that track faster than everyone else in the given time period as shown on the RalliSport Challenge 2 leaderboards. Terms and conditions can be found here. Good luck!
