Republic Commando: 10-Min Gameplay
We've got an awesome new direct feed gameplay video from the anticipated Star Wars FPS.
Star Wars: Republic Commando has been highly anticipated ever since its debut at the Microsoft's E3 2003 conference last year, with hype building further each time the game is mentioned.
A stylish and visually impressive first-person shooter, Republic Commando nails the dark, war-time atmosphere that the tail end of George Lucas' prequel trilogy is trying to convey. Republic Commando is not only smooth, but looks terrific. It features some great lighting, nice textures and other visual details that are as pretty to look at as they are engrossing. With a varied group of enemies to shoot at and a nice set of maps, this game is not lacking in any kind of technical aspect.
Our most recent hands-on with the game concluded there's not much LucasArts needs to tweak to ensure a Fall release on both PC and Xbox - but in the meantime, check out this lengthy and not unimpressive video sequence from the game.
