Star Wars: Episode III Announced
Co-inciding with the announcement of the film's new subtitle, funnily enough.
LucasArts has announced the inevitable game rendition of the upcoming motion picture film, Star Wars: Episode III: Revenge of the Sith, to be released May 19, 2005.
The game will be a third-person action/adventure game, billed as offering "the ultimate Jedi action experience."
Gamers will be able to play as the dark side with Anakin Skywalker, or alternatively fight for light as Obi-Wan - in a series of completely new game environments.
Whichever side you choose, expect a full roster of Jedi tactics, lightsaber techniques and all-new combination attacks.
Meanwhile, the Star Wars Trilogy DVD, scheduled for release on September 21 2004 in the US, is set to include a preview of the game, so keep an eye out for that.
Stay tuned for more on the whole range of forthcoming Star Wars titles from LucasArts.
