Sega SuperStars: New Screens & Video
While we wait around for our fantastic gameplay videos to be approved by Sega, check out this great collection of new screens and the intro video.
As with EyeToy itself, Sega SuperStars has faced a lukewarm response with US audiences, even among the primary target audience of Sega's fans. But we think the game - which is headed to all three territories in a few weeks' time - will go some way to convince gamers that Sega has done the right thing here.
We're going to save our detailed impressions of all twelve games, including the recently unveiled NiGHTS and Super Monkey Ball minigames, for our full review, but in the meantime you can catch a glimpse of all the games in action in this attract sequence video, which was released by Sega Europe today.
We also thought this would be a good chance to put all the unpublished Sega Superstars screenshots we've had hanging around for a while in one place - so here you go.
But what we're looking forward to the most is finally getting our direct feed gameplay videos of the game up - as with OutRun2, we've had the videos ready to go live for a while, but agreed to let Sega approve them beforehand, which ahem, can sometimes take a while.
Certainly seeing NiGHTS in action on PS2 hardware for the first time is somehow pretty special to us, while the insane difficulty of Monkey Ball is evident - and there's some new technology used to make PuyoPop one of the most thrilling EyeToy experiences to date.
Stay tuned for our gameplay video blowout very soon. Click here if you missed our previous coverage, including the Babe of E3 2004 playing the game.
