Vivendi to Release Riddick Follow-Up
First details of upcoming PC version.
Vivendi Universal Games announced Friday that it is currently working on an updated version of Chronicles of Riddick for PC. Carrying the more-than-a-mouthful title Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher's Bay - Developer's Cut, the game will feature a host of upgrades, including new locations, enhanced enemies, and a generally more polished experience.
Chronicles of Riddick is a shooter that forms the prelude to Vin Diesel's action flicks Chronicles of Riddick and Pitch Black. The Starbreeze-developed game debuted on the Xbox in August, where it bucked the trend of horrible movie-license games and enthralled gamers with its melding of first- and third-person action. The PC update is slated for release in the UK during December.
