FIFA 2005 Goes Mobile - First Details
Mobile phone exclusive version on the way.
EA announced today that it is following up the recent successful launch of FIFA 2005 for home consoles and PC with a version exclusive to mobile phones. Developed by EA in conjunction with Digital Bridges, FIFA Football 2005 Mobile International Edition builds on the success of the mobile version of FIFA 2004.
Several significant improvements have been made over last year's edition, which itself was downloaded by more than a million football fans. The most obvious upgrade is the new isometric viewpoint, which will give the game a better sense of scale. Gameplay has been improved through the incorporation of this year's One Touch system, allowing players to make smooth passes and keep ball movement fluid. And the addition of replays means that you'll be able to boast about your crushing victory over and over again.
Recognizable players from 16 international squads will be included, and the interface has been brought more in line with that seen on the console versions. FIFA 2005 is available for download right now.
