Championship Manager 5 Pushed Back
Technical issues blamed for the delay.
Eidos announced today that it has delayed the release of Championship Manager 5 for PC. The publisher has blamed technical issues for the delay. The game will now see release in early 2005. Eidos added that the delay of the PC version does not influence the spring 2005 launch planned for the console installments.
Championship Manager 5 is the first game in the popular series to be developed by Beautiful Game Studios. The developer of the previous iterations, Sports Interactive, is currently working on a football management simulation title of its own, simply titled Football Manager 2005, which is scheduled to be published by Sega later this year.
