New Medal of Honor in the Works
Update to major EA series due in spring.
EA announced on Thursday that it working on a new instalment in the popular historical first-person shooter series Medal of Honor. Titled Medal of Honor: Dogs of War, this newest entry in the series places gamers in the mud-encrusted boots of Lt. William Holt, an American OSS officer, during the pivotal period of World War II.
Gamers will be tasked with tackling four of the crucial battles that helped the Allies turn the war in their favour. Interestingly, EA has promised that gameplay will be different this time around. What's not different is the attention to detail. The developers at EA's Los Angeles studio have met with numerous experts to ensure that the game is as visually and thematically honest as possible.
Medal of Honor: Dogs of War is scheduled for release on PlayStation 2, GameCube and Xbox in spring 2005.
