X-Men Legends Follow-up Revealed
Acvitvision on Marvel-themed RPG sequel.
Usually there's a lag period between when a publisher releases a game and the revelation of a sequel. But on the day that X-Men Legends hits stores in the UK, Activision has announced that it is already at work on a sequel to the Marvel-themed RPG.
Activision is clearly happy with the way X-Men Legends has performed in North America, where it was released at the end of September.
"For 40 years, Marvel's X-Men have captivated consumers worldwide, and today the brand is stronger than ever," said Activision CEO Ron Doornink. "X-Men Legends is already on track to be the best-selling game in the franchise's history."
X-Men Legends 2 is in development at Raven Software, the same studio responsible for the first game and past hit series Soldier Of Fortune and Jedi Knight.
The first game, X-Men Legends, was released in the UK today for GameCube, Xbox and PlayStation 2.
