Fable Steams Ahead
Best opening month of any Xbox game.
Microsoft has announced that Fable has had the best opening month of any Xbox game.
The action RPG, which was created by famed game designer Peter Molyneux, has outperformed all previous Xbox games, selling 375,000 copies in its first week on sale in North America and 600,000 copies in its first month.
In the UK, too, Fable continues to do well. A second place finisher in Chart Track's software ranking during its first week, the game followed up with a strong second week, placing third on the charts.
Developed at Guildford-based Big Blue Box and Lionhead Studios, Fable is an action-based role playing game that offers gamers real consequences for all their actions.
Fable is on sale for Xbox now.
