Samurai Follow-Up Set for February
Xtreme Legends on its way next year.
Combining entertainment and accurate historical fact has always been a hit-or-miss affair, but Japanese publisher Koei has consistently found itself managing the former. The company has announced that it will be returning to last summer's Samurai Warriors and adding a dollop of fiction to form Samurai Warriors Xtreme Legends.
Set in Feudal Japan, Samurai Warriors Xtreme Legends is a strategy game that builds on the historically accurate storyline present in the previous game through the addition of four fictional characters.
These new characters each have their own stories that interweave with the main story from the previous version. Each new character also has multiple endings, so even Samurai Warriors veterans will find something new.
Samurai Warriors Xtreme Legends is out in the UK in February 2005.
