EverQuest II Set for November
SOE fixes global date for the sequel.
Already responsible for wrecking hundreds of relationships and wasting millions of man hours, EverQuest's popularity is undeniable. Sony Online Entertainment (SOE) has announced that the highly anticipated sequel, EverQuest II, will ship globally in November.
"After more than four years in development, the wait for EverQuest II is almost over," said John Smedley, president of SOE.
EverQuest II will feature all-new worlds and characters and draw upon the voice talents of Hollywood stars such as Christopher Lee and Heather Graham - just two of the actors speaking some of the 70,000 lines of dialogue.
"We've invested heavily in the development of the game to ensure that EverQuest II has the highest production values of any online game produced to date," said Smedley. "We want to deliver a game to our players that will provide an experience like nothing they've ever seen."
EverQuest II for PC will be released in North America and Europe on 8 November.
