PSP Gran Turismo 4 Set for Spring
Will also support network play through WiFi!
As part of the recent deluge of PSP-related announcements, Sony has revealed more information regarding the launch of the PSP version of Gran Turismo 4.
The game, which is in development at Polyphony Digital, will see release in Japan in spring 2005.
Perhaps more interesting than the vague release date is the confirmation that the PSP Gran Turismo debut will support network play through the handheld's WiFi connection.
Gran Turismo 4 for PlayStation 2, currently in development by Kazunori Yamauchi and Polyphony Digital, was recently purged of online content in response to the present lack of infrastructure to adequately support networked multiplayer.
Release details for the Gran Turismo 4 for PSP and the hardware itself outside of Japan are currently not known, but Sony is poised to make an announcement to that effect shortly.
