Microsoft to Publish Project Zero Sequel
One of the creepiest games of the last few years coming to Xbox thanks to Microsoft.
Microsoft has announced that it will handle publishing duties for Japanese developer Tecmo's Project Zero 2: Crimson Butterfly.
"Project Zero 2 is a hotly anticipated title from one of the industry's most renowned developers and we're pleased to be bringing it to Xbox gamers," said Microsoft's Stephen McGill.
"Project Zero 2 joins a strong portfolio of forthcoming Xbox titles such as Halo 2, Fable, and Forza. Tecmo has been a great partner for us and this release is a natural step in the development of our relationship."
The game follows twins Mio and Mayu Amakura as they uncover all manner of horrifying goings-on in an abandoned Japanese village. The game features several upgrades from its PlayStation 2 predecessor, including a new control option, more locations and new story elements, and extra ghosts and character costumes.
Project Zero 2 shipped for PlayStation 2 earlier this year. Release details for the Xbox version have not been determined. Read our review here.
