SVC Chaos Imminent
Capcom's stars released in SNK's world.
As two of the most successful creators of fighting games, SNK and Capcom have been at loggerheads for over a decade. After the cross-over that saw SNK's characters take on their Capcom counterparts in Capcom Vs SNK, the roles have been reversed, and its now Capcom's stars that find themselves in SNK's world.
SVC Chaos was developed by SNK and incorporates a new control system and new gameplay features. The roster includes 36 fighters from the best franchises from both development houses, including Street Fighter, Samurai Showdown and King Of Fighters.
One of the biggest selling points is the inclusion of full Live support in the Xbox version, which allows combatants from across the world to duke it out for fame and glory.
"SVC Chaos draws on a range of SNK titles, while keeping many of the favourites in the game," said Ignition's Peter Rollinsong.
"The mixing of fighters from different SNK titles is itself an exciting prospect, and the inclusion of Capcom's finest makes this a worthy addition to the on-going saga that offers players the best of both worlds."
SVC Chaos will be released on Xbox and PlayStation 2 in January 2005. Catch our hands-on preview here.
