Urbz Heading to Shelves
Sims In The City ready for cash.
With EA and Maxis having experienced unprecedented success with The Sims, the companies have now switched target audiences for The Urbz: Sims In The City.
As the name suggest, The Urbz: Sims In The City is a Sims-like game set in a more urban environment. The game forms another take on the popular series - clearly aimed at the teen market that might not be into The Sims.
"The Urbz: Sims In The City is all about three things: cool city style; building your reputation; and living the dream in a 24/7 city that never sleeps," said Maxis' Sinjin Bain.
"It gives players the opportunity to create and control their Sims in a completely unique way and in a very different environment."
The Urbz: Sims In The City is being released for all major platforms, including a Nintendo DS iteration that has been scheduled for launch later this month in North America.
The game also features tracks recorded by the Black Eyed Peas in 'Simlish', exclusively for the game.
The Urbz: Sims In The City is released for PlayStation 2, Xbox, GameCube and Game Boy Advance on Friday, 12 November.
