Full GTA: San Andreas Soundtrack Soon
Incredible soundtrack spans eight CDs.
When Grand Theft Auto: Vice City was released in 2002, it was joined by a hefty box set of music from the game - which makes the two-disc set accompanying Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas seem downright meagre.
But Rockstar has remained true to past form and announced on Tuesday that it will be releasing a more representative audio package later this year.
Spanning eight CDs and covering nine of the radio stations from Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, the box set also features some of the commercials and DJ chatter that flavoured the game.
The Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas soundtrack consists of an eclectic sampling of the American music scene from the 1990s and features songs from artists as varied as Willie Nelson, Public Enemy and Danzig.
Also contained in the set is a bonus DVD entitled The Introduction.
The eight-disc Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas soundtrack box set will be released in Europe on 6 December, with the North American release to follow on 7 December.
