DS Launch Snags Animal Puzzler
Ignition secures right to Zoo Keeper.
Puzzle games and handheld systems have traditionally made an unstoppable combination. Ignition announced today that it has secured the North American and European publishing rights for Success Corporation's Zoo Keeper.
The Nintendo DS puzzle game - a launch title in Japan - features a grid of animal characters that are captured by aligning them using the stylus and touch screen into strips of three.
Zoo Keeper also makes use of Nintendo DS's wireless capabilities to allow local two-player gaming with a single cartridge.
"Zoo Keeper is perfectly suited to the Nintendo DS, with its use of both the touch screen and the wireless communication capability," said Peter Rollinson, Product Manager, Ignition Entertainment.
"Its simple yet addictive gameplay will appeal to young and old alike, much like the Nintendo DS itself surely does."
Zoo Keeper for Nintendo DS is released in December in Japan, with North American and European releases to follow.
