Ubisoft Delivers Guardian Heroes
Treasure's Advance Guardian Heroes hits GBA.
Guardian Heroes for Sega's Saturn is considered by many to be one of the quintessential action games of the 1990s. Treasure, the developer of the game, returned to its roots earlier this year with the release of Advance Guardian Heroes for Nintendo's Game Boy Advance.
Ubisoft announced on Thursday that it has secured the European publishing rights to the game, which will see release in the UK next year.
"Ubisoft is pleased to be publishing this classic title for Game Boy Advance," said Ubisoft's John Parkes.
"Advance Guardian Heroes has innovative single-player gameplay, action-packed multiplayer modes and an immersive storyline. All of which means we have another great game added to our line-up."
Already released in Japan and North America, Advance Guardian Heroes is a medieval beat 'em up with ample room for customisation.
Players assume one of three brand-new characters in the action-heavy game and can also play either with or against other players in the fast-paced multiplayer modes.
Advance Guardian Heroes for Game Boy Advance is scheduled for UK release in February 2005.
