Zoo Tycoon Sequel Welcomes Visitors
It's on shelves in the UK this week.
Amateur zookeepers with a penchant for more animal popularisation are in luck. Microsoft has announced that the sequel to its popular PC game Zoo Tycoon will be in UK stores this week.
Zoo Tycoon 2 expands on its forebear and brings with it three unique play modes.
Players can interact with their created zoos by managing all aspects of the animals in Zoo Keeper mode, snapping static keepsakes - which can be shared online - in Photo Safari mode, or simply strolling through their attractions in Zoo Guest mode.
And if that's not enough, Microsoft will be posting free monthly updates for the game, which can be downloaded from www.zootycoon.com.
A playable demo for Zoo Tycoon 2 is available for download from www.zookeeper4aday.com. The site also contains details for a competition where the winner will be the chance to be an actual zookeeper, if only for a day.
Zoo Tycoon 2 will be released for PC on Friday, 26 November.
