Activision Calls Gamers Out for Duty
The historically accurate WWII offering.
This Friday, gamers with a love for all things World War II will be able to battle for all they're worth in Call Of Duty: Finest Hour.
Those who answer the call will find themselves whisked around to some of the major theatres of World War II, including North Africa, Belgium and Stalingrad.
And unlike several other World War II games, Call Of Duty: Finest Hour places you in the worn leather boots of several of the Allies, including Russia, Great Britain and America.
One of the action-adventure game's main selling points is its historical accuracy, as demonstrated by its meticulous reproduction of authentic wartime vehicles, like the German Panzer tanks (see the screens below).
The Xbox and PlayStation 2 versions of the game also include online play for up to 16 people that allows you to play as either the Allied or Axis forces.
Call Of Duty: Finest Hour is released for Xbox, PlayStation 2 and GameCube on Friday, 3 December.
