Dice at the Ready for Lineage II
Place a bet at the monster racetrack.
A trip to the races isn't what it used to be, but the allure of a fast buck is still something that's hard to beat. Which is why NCsoft is adding a gambling side to its Massively Multiplayer RPG Lineage II.
Using Lineage II's own currency, the 'adena', gamers can place bets down at the monster racetrack or take part in lotteries running on game servers.
If these options seem too tame, there are also dice games and the ever-loving one-armed bandit slot machines to part you from your money.
Any money won is yours for the taking and to do with as you please - whether that's upgrading a weapon or a going on a shopping spree for in-game goodies.
The new gambling features will be included in the Chronicles 2: Age Of Splendor update, which is set to go live on European servers soon.
