When Lego and Star Wars Collide
Lego Star Wars looks pretty cool, it has to be said. Details and screens.
There's a good chance that when you were younger you built Star Wars vehicles and characters out of Lego. Then came the re-release of the original Star Wars trilogy in the mid 1990s, and Lego started to make official Star Wars sets.
Now you can take the healthy relationship between the two brands to the next level with Lego Star Wars, a new game in development for PC home consoles that celebrates the intermingling of the two pop-culture heavyweights.
Lego Star Wars is exactly what you think it is - the Star Wars movies, retold using characters, vehicles and locations built out of Lego blocks.
The game covers all three of the prequel trilogy movies - that's Phantom Menace, Attack Of The Clones, and next summer's Revenge Of The Sith - and let's you play through the classic vehicle - and character-based scenes from the trilogy either solo or with a friend.
One of the undeniable highlights is the chance to experience the world of the final prequel instalment, Revenge Of The Sith, in videogame forms before the film's European release in May 2005.
Lego Star Wars is scheduled for release on PC, Xbox, Game Boy Advance and PlayStation 2 in April.
