EA Shows off FIFA for PSP
Sony's handheld marches on with FIFA.
The PSP has yet to arrive in Europe, but publishers know that in order to score big in the territory they need to either name their game Grand Theft Auto or make a football game. EA is taking the latter route.
The company is working on a version of FIFA Football designed specifically to take advantage of the portable punch of the PSP. While little is known about the game right now, EA has started showing off the game's visuals (see below).
As with EA's other PSP games, FIFA Football will have both single and multiplayer components and will use the PSP's wireless connection for head-to-head competition.
No release date is available right now, but the game is expected to arrive some time this year.
